ABOUT

Who We Are

Medical Management Professionals was born from the synergy between Medical Professionals, who have over fifty years of combined experience in hospital and surgery center administration, and a group of wellness clinic physicians and administrators.  The problem was obtaining accurate and timely results for testing samples that the physician's needed to be able to evaluate the overall health and wellness of their patients and prevent disease.

One solution was independent laboratories. However, independent laboratories tend to be a volume business.  Simply put, independent laboratories do not have the time or resources to care about one patient whose pathology results have not come back or was not resulted properly.  There is no accountability.

Hospitals have high standards that they are required to adhere to which results in excellent consistency in lab results.  So Lewis and his team began looking to hospitals to provide a solution for physicians and patients.

Why Hospitals?

They care.  Their staff are well trained, their laboratories are state of the art, and there are real people there that can interact with the physician when there are questions or problems.  That equals accountability.

Hospitals across the nation are under-utilized and have trouble maintaining economic viability.  The laboratory is an under-utilized department of the hospital that can generate revenue from outside sources.

How can a hospital connect with the wellness clinics and other physicians who need the laboratory services?

That's what MMP is all about.

What does MMP do?

Medical Management Professionals brings the physicians who need pathology results for their patients together with a laboratory within a hospital that can perform the analysis.  MMP assists the hospital with staffing and equipment if necessary and also helps coordinate the services so that the needs of the physician are met.  MMP promotes the laboratory of the hospital, educates physicians and their office to assist in coordination of services between the two, manages the physician accounts for the hospital, helps with the day-to-day logistical oversight and tracking and delivery of specimens, assists with billing and billing issues, and is the primary contact for all customer and patient complaints.

Together we can all achieve better wellness for our patients and Prevent Disease.
